| LCCS 2: installation |

The software is freely distributed by FAO and comes with a self-extracting
executable file which produces the entire set of files necessary to
run the setup.
Before starting the installation, ensure that the PC meets the
requirements specified below:
Hardware:
-Pentium processor
-8 MB RAM (16 MB or more recommended)
-Hard disk with at least 60 MB of free space
-The screen size can be variable. For the best visualization, set the
screen setting to 1024 by 768 pixels.
Operating System:
-Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP.
The user has to follow the usual installation procedure for Windows-based
programs. Installation from CD-ROM (for all the operating systems):
-Insert the CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive (usually D:)
-Click on Start
-Run…
-Type D:/setupLCCS/Setup.exe
On-line installation (for all operating systems): just click on the
LCCS software download button.
When this step is completed, a guided set-up procedure is activated.
It is highly recommended to accept the installation directory and the
program name proposed.
At the end of the set-up operation, the installation procedure will
ask you to restart the system. Subsequently, a new sub-directory
(C:\Program File\TerraNova\LCCS20) is created and a new LCCS icon is added to
the Windows Desktop and the Program Manager, within the TerraNova program folder.
